On the Cruise Ship

Finally, I'm on a cruise ship once again and it's going to be a great opportunity for me to reorganise my life, settle into a good routine and have fun while sorting things out.

This 9-night trip included 3 sea days, 3 port days and another 2 sea days before returning to Sydney, so I was able to make the most of my 5 days without social networking to focus on my life and find a balance between work study and fun.

Every day on board, I get up and go for some breakfast, then start my daily basic language study which lasts for an hour, then go to the gym or attend a language course for an hour, and finally go for lunch. In the afternoon, I can enjoy some leisure time on deck or in the pool, watch some programmes or play some games, then go to the gym or do some other study. Two dinners and some entertainment in the evening and some fun in the cabin. I can totally relax and be productive. Everything is very convenient and I can go to many different restaurants, bars, gyms and theatres within a few minutes walk. So here I am on the morning of my first sea day writing about my plans on board.

In addition to my daily basic studies (which I had to do every day, no matter where I was), I also need to take at least two hours of language skills classes every day to ensure that I can complete at least two of the three textbooks I have with me, and then for the rest of the week in Sydney I can complete the remaining one and watch all the lecture videos, quizzes, and homework assignments, and not have to worry about it for the rest of the trip. Additionally, I need to spend at least an hour a day clearing things off my to-do list, such as budgeting, accounting, research, and planning for the next few days and trips. So I have 4 hours of work per day plus half an hour of fitness training and enjoy the entertainment and leisure life on board. I will try to get ready for bed at 11pm, fall asleep at 12pm and get up at 8-8:30am so I have enough time to study in the morning, relax in the afternoon and have fun and rest in the evening.

Well, less talk, more action, time for today's workout.

PS: The two-hour study includes two 45-minute reading and writing sessions and one 30-minute speaking and pronunciation practice session.
